Expanded Circuit Between Rio de Janeiro and New York Will Provide Audiovisual Content

Global Crossing (NASDAQ:GLBC) , a leading global IP solutions provider, today announced it will provide a link between Rio de Janeiro and New York for Eurovision, the premier sports and news content distributor for the world’s top broadcast and media platforms, during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The contract expands the broadcaster’s existing Private Line Services to accommodate enhanced audio visual content.

Global Crossing Private Line services provide highly reliable, secure, point-to-point, digital connectivity, for a wide range of applications used by enterprise customers, including hosting, resource planning, business continuity, content distribution and disaster recovery.
