With Cox’s bundle of services, consumers have access to unprecedented coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

Cox Communications, in agreement with NBC Universal, has announced enhanced 2008 Olympics coverage. Consumers will have access to 3,600 hours of Olympics coverage on NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, USA, Oxygen and Telemundo and NBCOlympics.com.

And in the Hampton Roads localities where network optimization has occurred, customers also will have more than 800 hours in high-definition Olympics coverage. This includes two HD channels airing only during the Olympics: NBC Olympic Soccer Channel and NBC Olympic Basketball Channel.

Also, Cox High-Speed Internet customers can access 2,200 hours of 25 events streamed live, plus full-event video replays, extensive highlights, including daily recaps of key events, best-of montages, commentator analysis and athlete-specific clips each day, available on www.NBCOlympics.com. This can be found via a link from www.cox.net. In addition, digital cable customers can view the Olympic content free via Cox’s On DEMAND library, located on Cox Digital Cable channel 1.
